Our latest Bite Size Plays production, 'And The Winner Is...' featured four award-winning short comedies written by Tony Domaille, at The Swan Thornbury, Grace Lodge, Thornbury, and Oldbury Memorial Hall.
'My Hero' - A super-hero couple's marriage is on the rocks.
'When All Around You' - A medieval executioner is very keen on customer service
'House Hunting' - A famous vampire visits at Estate Agent.
'Apocalypse Then?'- The end of the world is not going to plan.

AND
We opened the Bristol One Act Festival 27th February 2025 at The Olympus Theatre, Bristol. BS34 8LP with Tony Domaille's brand new drama 'I Know a Place' featuring Alex Nixon, Phil Domaille, Sarah Cully Morgan and Sarah Wiggins.
'This was a beautifully chilling opening to our festival. You kept us on tenterhooks as the the story unfolded and ticked by. Would Lucy be found dead or alive? This was an extremely competent piece of theatre, very nicely directed and presented by this talented group. (Jan Palmer Sayer - GoDA)

Then we appeared on the opening night of the Avon Short Play Festival on 6th March at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall. That performance collected more nominations and awards -

Best Technical, Peter Minshall. Best Director, Ella Dimapo, Best Original Script, Tony Domaille, Best Actor. Alex Nixon, Best Play, JTP Theatre.
We went on to represent Avon in the Regional Final at the Merlin Theatre, Frome on 17 May where we were delighted by audience and adjudicator reactions to the play.
A radio version of the play also featured on Thornbury Radio in May, completing a successful run.
STOP PRESS: The script for 'I Know a Place' won the UK Commmunity Drama Festivals Federation Geoffrey Whitworth Award for Best Original Script. This is the third time one of Tony Domaille's scripts has won the award after 'Normal For' in 2022 and 'Even Numbers' in 2023.
The play had a rehearsed reading at the British One Act Final in Lichfield where Tony was presented with the award.

2nd September – Rachel Howgego features in ‘Eleanor Rigby’, a monologue which tells why she is one of all the lonely people.
9th September - ‘Hello Stranger’ is a brand new drama from the pen of Tony Domaille. Douglas suffers from dementia while his grandson struggles to care for him.
16th September - Tony Domaille reads his Midsomerset Festival winning story, ‘Finally the Ducks’, a tale of friendship late in life.
23rd September – Another chance to listen to ‘Hello Stranger’ featuring Chris Holland, Alex Nixon and Sarah Cully Morgan.
30th September – ‘Autumn’. Chris Holland delivers this monologue with a man wondering where all the years have gone.
