About Us

JTP Theatre is a multi-award winning theatre company, performing in the South West of the UK.

The group was originally formed in 2014 as Journeyman Theatre Productions, by Jon, Tony and Phil Domaille with a view to creating and performing new work at Festivals, One Act competitions and other community events. 

Since then, the JTP has become known for its Bite Size Plays, performed in cafe's, hotels, and pubs, multi-award winning success at One Act Play Festivals, the full-length critically acclaimed romcom 'My Angel', and dozens of features on BBC Radio Bristol and Thornbury Radio.

The group continues to produce original drama and comedy across a range of platforms, including their  JTP Theatre channel on Youtube.

Tony Domaille Writing

Derek Jacobi, and UK CDFF Geoffrey Whitworth Award winning Writer

Tony Domaille is JTP's in-house writer. His awards include having won the Derek Jacobi New Play Writing Award in 2023 ('Even Numbers'), and the UK CDFF Geoffrey Whitworth Award for Best Original Script in 2023 ('Even Numbers') and 2022 ('Normal For'). Tony's scripts have also been shortlisted for and won numerous other awards, including Pint Sized Plays. 

Tony's plays have been produced in fourteen countries, from the USA to Australia, winning several awards  across the UK and Ireland.  He has  plays published by Pint Sized Plays, Ilkley Playhouse and Stage-Write Plays, but the majority are with Lazy Bee Scripts, including the best selling Give Us a Sign, Even Numbers, Every Pantomime That Ever There Was, When All Around You,  and  Time Travel Agent.
