'I Know a Place' by Tony Domaille

Lucy Evans is missing, and her ex-boyfriend Damien Curtis is in police custody, as the prime suspect. But Curtis won’t speak to the police and the only person he will talk to is forensic psychiatrist, Dr Vincent, who finds himself in a race against time to find Lucy. 

The play was first produced at the Bristol One Act Festival in February 2025 and then at the Avon Short Play Festival the following month, winning the awards for Best Actor (Alex Nixon) Best Director (Tony Domaille) Best Original Script (Tony Domaille) Best Tech (Peter Minshall) and Best Play.

The play went on to the regional final at The Merlin Theatre, Frome where it was laced third. And further success came with winning the UK Community Drama Festivals Federation Award for Best Original Script 2025.

'Even Numbers' by Tony Domaille

Mary-Ann has poisoned and killed five people and Doctor Vincent must make an assessment of her mental state for the court. In trying to establish if she is insane, or just plain evil, a shocking truth is discovered.

The play had its frst staging at the Bristol One Act Festival in February 2023, where it won the awards for Best Actor (Phil Domaille), Best Actress (Sarah Wiggins), and Best Moment in Theatre (Sarah Cully Morgan). It subsequently enjoyed a successful run at the Alma Theatre, Bristol, and The Cotswold Playhouse, Stroud.

The play went on to win the UK Community Drama Festivals Federation Award for Best Original Script 2023, and the Derek Jacobi Award for New Playwriting 2023.

A teacher suspects a little boy in  her class is a victim of abuse, but no one is listening to her concerns.

The play was first performed at the Avon Short Play  Festival in February 2022, where it won the awards for Best Actor (Calum Sharp), Best Actress (Sarah Wiggins), Best Supporting Actor  (Vicky Sharp), Best Director (Phil Domaille), Best Original Script (Tony Domaille) and Best Play.  It was subsequently runner-up at the Regional Finals and went on to  win the UK Community Drama Festivals Federation Award for Best Original Script 2022

A brilliant scientist discovers a way to live forever by uploading his consciousness to The Cloud. But is immortality all he hoped for?

Phil and his mates have bungled a robbery that was supposed to solve all their money problems. Now he and his friend, Mikey, have run to the only safe place they can think of – The Me & You Café, owned by Phil’s daughter. Whilst they wait to see if the police are on to them, Phil and his daughter find themselves exploring how it all came to this, and whether their relationship can withstand past and present pressures. 

The play was first performed at the  Avon Short Play  Festival 2020, where it won the awards for Best Actress (Sarah Wiggins), Best Actor  (Phil Domaille), Best Supporting Actor (Peter James) Best Director (Tony Domaille) and Best Play.

Award winning 'A Single Moment' by Tony Domaille

Danny’s gambling has finally brought him to rock bottom. He has lost everything and now finds himself in the bookmaker’s shop learning life lessons from a bag lady and a bookmaker who wants all he is owed. Whilst salvation is offered from surprising sources, it is single moment that actually saves him when his most unlikely bet is won because on 5th June 2009 snow fell across parts of the UK.

The play was first performed at the Avon Short Play  Festival in 2015, where Shelagh Fagan won the award for  Best Supporting Actress, Jon Domaille was nominated for Best Actor and Tony Domaille was nominated for Best Original Script.  The script was also Best Original Script runner up in the UKCDFF  competition
